FLAT RATE repairs FAQ

WHAT IS A FLAT RATE REPAIR PROGRAM?

A flat-rate repair program provides repair services for a predetermined cost for devices that are already broken. This is an ideal way to try out Lexicon and catch up on the pool of broken devices that you haven’t been able to get around to repairing.

For repairable devices, Lexicon repairs all reported and unreported issues for one predetermined price. With our “RapidRepair Program” you pre-purchase a set number of flat rate repairs to use over the course of the year as needed.

We work with all device makes and models – Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Apple. To ensure expediency, devices need to be from current models that Lexicon supports. If you have questions about your devices, we encourage you to contact us at alwayslearning@lexiconk12.com.

Yes, all shipping (pick-up and delivery) costs are included in the price of our RapidRepair bundle packs. Lexicon provides custom-designed 10-slot boxes and pre-addressed shipping labels. We ask that you ship 10 devices at a time. For half-shipments, additional shipping fees may apply.

Flat rate repairs are completed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Lexicon will make every reasonable effort to meet Customer-requested return times, but Customer understands that turn time may fluctuate based on the device model, nature of repairs, parts availability, and other factors. If you have a drop dead date on when repairs need completed, talk to your sales rep so we can confirm parts and repair tech availablity to meet your deadline.

A minimum purchase of 10 device repairs is required.

Lexicon adheres to the strict quality standards of ISO 9001:2015 and MSD JEDEC STD-033C in our Conyers and Orlando facilities. WE are also ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) certified, which adds to the longevity of your devices.

All repairs are performed in-house by Lexicon’s certified repair technicians. We are driven by procedural standards with a total of 14 individual certifications held by our technicians and engineers. Our repair techs receive over 100 hours of in-house supervised training and are certified on every device model they support. In addition, Lexicon techs receive three (3) months of QA department reviews for completed repairs after their certification. Lead technicians are A+ certified.

All devices go through a diagnostic review to determine repair eligibility. Any devices that exhibit any of the below faults that cannot be repaired will be charged a diagnostic fee of $30.00 and returned to the district. (No charge for shipping.)
