With 1:1 student device programs becoming the norm, student devices in need of repair are skyrocketing.
Lexicon is happy to be a full service provider or on standby in case your team needs the occasional helping hand with technology services during the school year.
All devices are repaired at our 75,000-square-foot ISO 9001:2015 facility based in Georgia. We bulk-order parts for your electronic devices to ensure the fastest turnaround time. Additionally, we’ll help you reduce the backlog of damaged devices, whether from accidental damage or other damage occurrences.
We perform a full diagnostic on every device to identify both reported and unreported issues. Device testing and quality check for full functionality eliminates the need for repeat returns.
Specializing in microelectronics, including BGA rework and X-ray inspected welds, our process enables component-level repairs. Unlike most providers who might opt for a new device or a replacement device due to major repair challenges, we can fix the damage, saving you significant replacement costs and time.
Lexicon is ISO 9001:2015, and follows MSD JEDEC STD-033C. We are also ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) certified to further extend the life of your student’s device. *ESD Association studies show that failure to use ESD management decreases device life by 8-33%.
Our A+ certified technicians received training and certification for the device manufacturers on which they work.
We test every device for full functionality before returning it to you, eliminating the need for repeated returns for repair.
All k-12 tech repairs come with a 60-day warranty.
“Without Lexicon, we’d have to try and anticipate the volume of repairs and how many parts and spares to keep on hand. First of all, there’s no way we can know all of that. Second, we don’t have the room to keep parts on hand even if we could make a guess, and third, the repair time with Lexicon is super quick. Everything about the process from start to finish is thought through to make things as simple and easy as possible for us on this end.”
“We’re stretched thin with teacher computers, the network, and more. Having AlwaysLearning frees up our time so we can actually do our jobs. We’re not bogged down with repairs. Lexicon as a company literally oozes customer service. I’ve never seen it’s match. The Lexicon team is always–always– available to us. We can call or email with any question and it’s always immediately addressed. The thing I like is that it’s a happy response. The whole culture is very much, “We’ll take care of it.” It truly is white-glove service.”
“Lexicon is an essential partner in our district’s plan for device maintenance and repair. They have consistently provided a very high level of satisfaction and have helped to make our ‘hot swap’ plan (to keep students and staff always with a working device) a reality. Lexicon has been a long-term partner for Henry, and they have delivered for us for many years. I am happy to provide an enthusiastic recommendation for Lexicon.”
“Lexicon continues to be an outstanding partner for Clayton County Public Schools. The AlwaysLearning solution truly lives up to its name and enables our teachers and students to focus on instruction and not on technical issues. Lexicon has become a critical extension to the Clayton County Public Schools Department of Technology and an invaluable resource for our district.”
“Lexicon is more than a trusted partner. We value the relationship because they go above and beyond for our schools. They allow our teachers and students to teach and learn seamlessly. We can rely on Lexicon to be there when needed and to add value to our support and service mission.”
A flat rate repair program provides repair services for a predetermined repair cost. Flat rate pricing can help reduce the time and effort to estimate the cost of the repair.
Are damaged devices piling up in your district? We specialize in mainboard repairs for both Chromebooks and Apple devices and can fix many devices that would otherwise be recycled or tossed. We make it easy to clear out your backlog of repairs with our bundled options. Choose the amount of repairs you need–10, 25, 100… The best part? Pre-purchased flat-rate repairs never expire. Use them as you need them.
There is no difference. All devices submitted for repair receive the same expert treatment. Our team conducts preventative maintenance thorough diagnostics on each device to detect any reported or unreported issues. With our specialized expertise in microelectronics component-repair, comprehensive device testing, and quality checks for full functionality, we eliminate the need for multiple returns.
Lexicon adheres to the strict quality standards of ISO 9001:2015 and MSD JEDEC STD-033C, and we are also ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) certified, which adds to the longevity of your technology devices.
Lexicon will provide a custom-made shipping box slotted for 5, 10, or 15 devices along with a pre-addressed and paid for shipping label. Simply drop the damaged devices in the box and let us know it’s ready for pickup. We’ll do the rest, sending UPS to your individual schools or a central pick-up location within your district. Pickups can be done as often as necessary, including daily.
Lexicon ensures the fastest turnaround time for school-issued device repairs by strategically bulk-ordering parts right after a contract is signed. Recognizing the critical importance of minimizing downtime for schools and students, our approach is designed to prevent any delays in the repair process, ensuring that students have minimal disruption to their learning. Our expansive ISO 9001:2015 75,000-square-foot facility in Georgia is optimized for handling large volumes of repairs, enabling us to quickly address the needs of schools. By prioritizing swift and accurate repairs, we aim to ensure that students and educators experience the least possible interruption to the educational process.
Note that for flat-rate repairs, we often have parts already in house for common devices, cutting down on turn times. If for any reason there would be a delay in obtaining parts, we’ll make you aware of that at the time your order is placed.
